Citroën C2 update 7-28-04

Hi to all again,

Finally I decided to make my first 3d model using 3ds max: a citroën C2. This is what I got so far, I know that some bugs are present but I just started to model it

Due it is my first 3ds max car, I need advices to improve it as much as possible, so C & C please.

PS: Anybody knows why area shadows are looking so sharp in that renders? :?

thanks NE, you allways are the first one to comment   . I'm still working on my zmodeler projects, the cupra only needs the alpha channel, the odl layer, and put it in the game, anyways thanks to remember it

EDIT: I have a newbie question, how can I do clay renders?

nice start!, abotuthe clay render, just just open material editor and take a basic grey material and set specular and glosinees to 0 and apply in on your car, now just render wit ha skylight as light (dont forget to press 9 and choose uuh.. global illimination i think or you will get a black render)

a little update. The front bumper is mainly finished. Don't pay much attention to mesh-smoothed pics cuz the mesh hasn't got any chamfer

comment it plz.

The mesh below the light in the bumper looks a bit messy, but the rest looks great
