I decided to put a 208 polygon code32 badge on every car i make, the Testarossa has it on its fuelcap.

I have no updates but i need some help with the Testarossas gauge textures: they need to be edited by more skillful hands than mine. I need the RPM and speed needles removed but i really arent good enough in photochopping so maybe some nice person would do it for me? Thanks.

Here the file:http://users.telenet.be/HannuQ/Files...ssa_gauges.bmp

too bad i can't see the pics...
but about the gauges. i think i have a shot of the dash instrumentation dead on center. as i don't see/know it, what is the exact type of the testarossa (1984 testarossa, 512 tr, 512 m) you have modelled? the shot i have is of the 512 m (i'd scan it from ferrarissima #22). if you're interested, just pm me.

/edit reloading a couple of times fixed the pics .. so you're doing the 1984 testarossa, in case you're still interested in the shot, though there's quite some difference between the '84 tr and the 512 m, see above

Thanks to both sky^sp and krazymod who helped/help me with these gauges, request for further help is no more needed. Thanks.

@sky^sp, well i think this testa im doing has the Testaroosa interior, Testarossa and 512 extentior. For example the front grille is from the ol Testarossa but the body colored skirts and lips are again from 512.
As for 512 M, its fugly really ugly, makes me sick.

just noticed.. the 512 series (tr + m) do have the tachometer on the left and the rpm-counter on the right. i'm not 100% sure on the '84 testarossa - have to search the miami vice tapes or the original test drive game, but i guess the testarossa has the same layout, so you might need to exchange those two. i'm trying to locate the '84 dash on my archives then we'll know for sure (unless it's a brit car or something )

err.. dunno. i guess one shows your speed, the other the rpm of the engine. i'm not sure if those two are called the same, if so, i wouldn't. the manual states it as "rev counter" and "electronic speedometer"... ah well.. words...

In NFS4, they call the RPM counter the Tachometer....

But yes, rev(olutions per minute (rpm)) counter and speedometer (km/h or mph, so not rpm) are two different things

Well yeah, using alpha channels would be smarter, but then again im really poor when it comes to textures so i would never get it work. :? And the polycount isnt a big problem for the games its gonna get converted, so why to spare. Oh and actually the pedals are like 1972 polys, if it eases youR mind.
