Porsche 914

I already completed one of these a while back, but somebody (my mom) deleted it, the blueprints I used, and all the textures I had for it.

After seeing a set of prints posted here, along with coming across the ones I used the last time, I decided to restart it.

This is the result so far.

C&C welcome

A 'bit' polyheavy on the fender, heh?
Might cut some

Got a bit more done today..

Yeah, looking back, I did go a bit wild on the fender thing, but I wanted it nice and smooth. Depending on final poly count, I may go back and trim it down some.

You are doing a very nice job on this 914. Its very different than other porsches. I remember really being pissed, when playing nfs porsche 2000, going to the golden era hoping to see the moby dick and then suddenly i see these. After looking at the car for some time i even started to like it.
I dont have much to crit about your model. Its a very good job.

Hehe...funny you mention Porsche Unleashed. That's where I was introduced to this vehicle as well. My first impression was "Geeze this thing is slow!" It has since grown on me, obviously.

Definitely a unique looking Porsche.

Anywho...concerning the mesh- just have front and rear fascias to do pretty much and then I'll start on the interior.

What's your goal (considering polycount)? Since it looks like it's near 4/5k already (two sides)..
But well, it sure is worth it, since it looks great Keep it up!

My hope is for the count to be somewhere around 7-8k. 10k at the absolute most. This wouls be with everything such as wheels, interior, driver, misc stuff.

So far for two sides, it sits at 1308. Wheels are gonna be the real killer. :?

edit: Started on the interior.

Most of the actual modeling is complete now, save for a small part of the dash, and a steering wheel.

Poly count for everything shown if just under 4.2k
