hey good first attempt in rhino. To match up the two halves have you tried the "matchsrf" command.

hope this helps.

Thanks for good suggestions and comments. World's only hope, i know the "matchsrf" command, but somewhy it never came to my mind to use that there. Thanks for reminding me. I also draw new curves for the center of the front and attached the wireframe image. The wire is kinda messy, but i dont know what to do about it. Any suggestions on that one would be really welcome.

You should probably try to make your your car out of more surfaces. Look at the enclosed picture. Try the curve match tool (tangency) as well. If all your curves match up you will get better surfaces. I would also suggest not starting the details, until the body is accurate, but since this is your first model I guess it's okay. Hope this helps, and good luck

Thanks for that image. I think i can learn something from that. But what kind of tool should i use to make surfaces? For the porshce i have been using mostly the "networksrf" conmmand and "sweep2". But whats best? And should i rebuild my surfaces after making them?

I tend to use the "networksrf" command most of the time. You should experiment with both command. The "sweep2" is best for simple surfaces while "networksrf" creates more complex surfaces. i also prefer the "networksrf" command because it allows alignment for curvature.

And as for rebuilding, I find it is rather usless. it is much easier for me to create the proper surface first, but thats just my opinion.

hope this helps.
