Skyline R34 GT-R for animation

I know that lots have people have made this car, and its not an orignal choice, but I like it.

I made it for an animation, where it starts out as stock, and gets bodykit, wheels etc.

I am not too worried about accuracy, as it will always be moving in the animation.







The done-up version is just made up, do you think I should keep it with the eyelids or not?

I know the wheels on the blue one are not stock, but I just wanted some plain wheels on there. Still trying to find a design for the new wheels.

hey.. you are that guy at cgtalk :wink: (i'm Kazumi there) anyway.. very nice, the street version is nice, i like it. One question.. how do animate your car?? like the wheels spinning, etc... i'm clueless

Yes, me to. I'm completely clueless on animation, and would love to start learning it. Do you have any tutorials on it anywhere. Anyways your car looks cool.

The car is like whouw. although i think the street version could really use better rims, these are kinda too simple and stockish..

Well, I will actually make a whole story board, and set up the shots first, and work out the animation simply with primitive cars.

I think I will have to keyframe all the wheels, because I want them to smoke sometimes, but mostly i will animate the car body going around, and have all the wheels, lights etc parented to it. Then later, I will do small adjustments like bodyroll, effects like smoke and things like that.
