1970 Dodge Challenger

Hello all at smcars, it's been a while since i posted.

This will be my second attempt at this car. The 1st one was too inaccurate and stupidly high poly so i deemed it rubbish, and cast it aside. Then all of a sudden yesterday i decided to have another go at it, so i'll post wip's and stuff for you guys to comment on. Thinking on it now, it's been a while since i made a car :/

I also found it quite ironic that someone posted ref pics the day after i started modelling, but i am pretty content with its accuracy so no worries.

comments away!

Can't crit on accuracy, but the model looks good in my eyes
The polystructure looks good too overal, just a bit weird on the hood
Sweet work nontheless

Quick updates for you guys =)

Update:

I'm planning 3 versions for 2 games, Carmageddon TDR and UnWheel (i'm known as tda over there....). Versions planned are a Junker, Stock, then Pro Street. The Junker and Stock will share the same models (with slight "damage" on the Junker) but will have different textures, and the pro street has a lot of different mods, as you can see

Updates when i have em, comments are very welcome...

that "blower" needs lots of work, its too flat and belt is too thin etc...

oh well...pic does tell more that 1000 words....see picture below, its not HEMI but shows somewhat well about that how big the blower is.

Aye, the engine does suck royally at the moment, i just made it quick and without any reference. Once i find some decent pics of superchargers and the like i'll probably end up changing a lot of it, and maybe the exhausts too.

Well what the hell, updates?

I got bored and dragged this model back from wherever its been to have a pop at finishing it. It's finally getting closer to how i wanted it, fixed body shape, a real chassis and stuff. I'm just adding the smaller details in and then i'm going to try and find time to do the UVmapping (which should be fun :/)

Very good, because it's a MOPAR
Your Challenger is good, but you should change the Billboard Stripes, than it's perfect.
