Thanks for the interest gyus.

Okay, i'm taking a little break from Town Car and finished this lowpoly item today. I'm gonna put it in NFS-IV just for fun, just need to figure out some things like driver model and simulation file.

Oh sh*t! Damn grungy you snapped with the Linc.
I would have never thought that someone would model my favorite line of cars in such great detail and precision. WOW I knew that since the beginning of this project it would be quality, but I never thought it would be THIS good. Real nice job, I can see the resemblance to Krazymod's work. I can't wait to cruise around in this beauty.

Not to be picky or annoying, but I noticed the rear trunk cover, how it isnt like smooth all the way. On my towncar I can remember it was pretty much smooth on the top across with no rigdes or body-lines. And the rear window might be a bit too big check this out, I hope this helps Grungy

Real nice job once again.

Thanks man, in fact i was going to fix the window, just didn't have time, but i will be working on it next week, cheers for the info. As for the trunk, i noticed some very minor ridges on a TC limo i spotted in Moscow, but it may be custom or whatever...anyway, i'll fix it if needed. Btw, you own a Town Car, don't you?

@all: just was taking rest from Lincoln and started these 2 items: a 1970 Mercury Cyclone and 1968 AMC AMX. Not sure if i'll be finisheing the Mercury though. The wheels are temporary and weren't made by me. C&c please, i need crits especially for the Cyclone, because it's made without prints.

Man, Im telling you, whatever you think of coming up with you dont ease up on quality. Very nice job with the Mercury and AMC they look like great 70's mod type of cars. Very impressive. As for me owning a TownCar like that, I have a 1993, and had a 1999 which is basically the same body-style as what you are making. Unfortunatley it was in a car accident in august and was a total loss . It was a true mafia car...

You know if you ever have time, you should give a try to a 1990-1997 Lincoln, cause those are also real nice line of TownCars. Like my 93. Also, if you really like the american panther-chassis vehicles. You should give a Ford Crown Vic, or 04'Mercury Marauder a try, wonderful cars.

Once again, keep up the good work, and dont let this practically dead forum keep you from the modeling.

Later man,

Mmm, really sad about the '99 TC. As for the 1990-1997 LTC it's gonna be made by a friend of mine soon, but this one is not clearly my last Lincoln. And i have an old Crown Vic in plans (not the latest one, i think it's the 1993-1998 guise), may do it when i get done with this one, it mostly depends on my free time. Not sure about the Marauder though (don't know the car really well, while CV's were used as copcars in my country).
P.S: Don't you know any good resource about these cars (CV, TC, Marauder)? I need some bottom pictures to make frame and sh!t but no pics...

And it's about 60K now btw. hock:

Really nice work. Can't wait to see it done, with all that you have planned. Good luck.

Grungy, I think I can get you some pics for the interior of the lincoln. The undercarriage is gonna be a bit harder cause I never took pics of under my car when I had it. But I am goin to try to get the best that I can. The Mercury Marauder is like a Mercury Grand Marquis, but a lil supped up. It is blacked out, has 300hp, 18'' rims, and a real nice exhaust .

I thought the attack on smcars.net messed the forums up tho?

Oh and go on CrownVic.net , I know theres a lot of members and I think there are pics of the panthers there.

That would be more than good. I'm in need of buttons screenshots, plus i need a good headlight pic. As for Marauder, I could do one from a freeware CrownVic model i have (found it online) for gaming puproses, but definitely not now (six projects in progress plus i'm learning to convert cars to GTA). I must try doing all 3 as a series (Town Car, Marauder and and old pursuit CrownVic), but i should finish a couple of existing projects at first.

Anyway, a minor update for both muscles...
AMX: defined proportions finally, gave it a new front bumper started texturing. Didn't weld 2 sides together yet.

Cyclone: remodelled the whole front end, since the car looked like Dodge Charger before. Now it seems a bit better, but still seems missing something (textures?).

New one shown on the left.

Thats all for today...

you're missing a little hood scoop, a license plate holder and the center part of the front grill is too round.
