looks crazy good!
the detail is just incredible
y only two little coments are: what hapened to the headlights?
and the blue pit holder thing should be higher of the ground, the back wheel almost touches

thanks m8!

I modeled the headlights automaticly after the blueprints, but then i realized i'am making a race version... (after revell model, but prints are from 996 users manual)

I'll remodel the blue holder thingy... i finnaly got a reference pic of it - it's a bit different from the normal holders, since the ducati has only one swingarm - the holder is designed to hold the bike from one side only - throo rear axel. i'll post some updates tomorow

looks great
this is sort of an oftiopic question, but isnt the 996 frame the same as the one on the Monster? i noticed that the frame on that last pic looks a lot like it, as i started modeling one

Sweet start on it
Though the renders are a bit too grainy for me.. I like grainy renders, but this...

thank you well... at 2mio+ smooth polys my computer isnt capable of any good & fast renders, so i made compromise and turned AA setting to min 1/16 max 16... so i get allmost no flakes on body, but the ground plane gets undersampled... hopefully i'll get 2x1gb ram till end of week and then i'll go back to brazil (final render is more memory eficient, but the render takes forewer - at least with no undersampling). For the rim shading i use brazil advanced (car paint), but final render simply wont interpret it the way i like it... i tryed dozens of different settings, but still small reflective spots seem too blury... ah, well... i'll post updates tomorrow
