well... its been long time... again :\ , but i managed to find some time to fix the frame width in front part, but now i'am slowly scaling parts around it to fit again. i allso started on engine... (yeah, its just a small cover, but its 2 meshsmoothed objects only and complex shape)
![]() ***edit*** oh, i allso found few ways to lower my poly count (it was allmost 1 mio smoothed, now its 600k). i'am using poly select modifyer before mesh smooth, and select only faces i want smothed (its usable with objects that have some flat shapes - like rear sprocket). allso instead of chamfering for some realy sharp edges, i set smooth groups in low poly, and set the meshsmooth to separate result by smoothing groups - works perfect on tiny objects - screws, etc... |
