I´m back with a new car The S60 interior was so boring so I started this car. The body is allmost done, it just need some more details. And I need to fix small bugs in the mesh.

C&C please!

Dont hurry when u model mercedes or any other car.
What I see now is unaccurate model.
I d suggest remodel some parts, especially da front hood and rear area.
Dony hurry makin quality renders, before u have quality model.
Good luck!

I don´t think the model is that unaccurate. Yes I know it can be better in some places. The rear area lacks details and is unfinnished.
But the front hood is not unaccurate is it? :? Not what I can see.
Anyway give me some more details of what is wrong and don´t just look at Nighteyes red dotted pics. Some of the dotts there is things that I haven´t done yet. And that shouldn´t point out that the car is unaccurate. It is the same thing as if I should say that the car is unaccurate cause it has no mirrors.

Sorry, this is bugging me a bit

Anyway thanks for comments and I will try to fix the things you said.

You are funny!
Did I say its unnacurate coz it has no mirrors, bull**** .
I just wanna tell u dont be so proud of copyin some1 elses design , if u copy - do it clean. Accuratness, ere, means neat and smooth shape, which gives after, perfect reflections.
------------------
I dont get u, if u post ere your work so u r intrested in our opinion, critique and its not always positive. If u cant take it, sorry ya model is perfect.
But you wont reach any high result with such high self-appraisal.
--------------------
Dont think I reply in your topic coz I have nothin 2 do .
I reply because I ve modelled similar model of mercedes, Sl 500, and I know lil bit bout mercedes gourges shapes.

I wasnt aware that we had such a rule here on the board .. oh, wait ... we dont

Posting crits can be done in several ways ... you got to identify the level of critizism needed. A good crit is encouraging and does not demean or put the creator down like stating that the model is "inaccurate" and of "no quality".

I even think that there was a tad too much reds in NightEye's post for it to be encouraging ... maybe just pointing out the largest flaws and wait with the others until the first ones are improved. That way the creator doesnt get overwhelmed with flaws.

In this case I think that the model is very promising but sure, there's inaccuracy in it here and there but the crits still need to be on the right level ...

Just because it's a "copy of someone elses design" (much like 99% of the work here) Jintonic, you have no right to tell anyone that they shouldnt be proud of it, nor does being a good modeller yourself entitle you to such comments. The model is an improvement over the S60 and thus something to be pleased with, even though its not flawless.

Sorry that this long rambling had to end up in your thread Erik ... but I have too much free time today ...

I dont agree with you bjollets.
I dont think i said somethin rude or non responsable.
Encouraging ppl by lie is not always encouraging, because when he will see some1 elses work on the same car and it will be perfect, he ll ask himself or us, why u didnt point out this bugs, or, ah they dont really care, or they just post for nothin, or just say its cool. Thats really bad feeling.
-------------
I think if your work is good, no1 even wants 2 search any bugs.
And if its not, some critique and following fixin all areas can make the author much stronger. Good critique not always positive.
--------------
I repeat again dont hurry.
For me better less but perfect , than more but inaccurate.
------------
Peace all.
