ok,as i mentioned on the last threat i posted on this forum i will represent the poly model of my Celica which i modeled it for a Mod or something like a Game Demo and then for the Game itself.
Modeling in Maya 6
Exported into 3dsmax 6
the smoothing group has done in 3dsmax by the team leader.
i don't like the smooth result,i'll upload the original one.
Polycount : 1972
if you like the Smooth one, just request,i'll upload it too

Looks nice, tad rough but I'm sure things will get smoothed out as you progress. No complaints here but then again I dont know all the details of t he car, but it looks right to me.

Lowpoly modeling requires a whole different polystructure, one which you don't quite understand yet, but that will come for sure
For example: Polies to aviod tris can be deleted, since it won't be meshsmoothened. Also chamfer edges can be deleted, and so on
Just keep on going

thanks Icekid84 & NightEye for the replys
to Icekid84 : it is rough because smoothgroup is not modified yet.
to NightEye : i know some of those and used most of them, but for some detail,or maybe getting the near shape of what exactly the car is,i had to do some bevel and chamfer, and i'm surely satisfied for now.
and about the project, this is what i had to do,it was my part, other part like side mirrors, rim and tire and interior is now modeling by another ppl
thanks for viewing.
