City Work in progress

Well, I don't have much time to work on this right now, but I'm actually trying to do a scene for a car, maybe a city with light that I could use for an animation, but I don't really know much about lighting. I would like to know if someone could help me achieve obtaining a realistic lighting coming out from the street lamp (dunno what's the name in english :lol: ), and the same thing for a circulation light. I'm pretty newbie with 3DS Max 6, and I would like to see if you guys could help me. Thanks,

try to use video post glow effect

Change the effect channel on the material you want to glow, (click on hold the number.

Click Render, post video something and follow the pictures.


You must rnder through the post video.

Check the help file.

Thanks a lot for the help marvin. I'll post new pictures later this day.

Edit: Here it is, glow is not final. I maded two panel. I'll add them to the city. I'll restart my street lights since they are too high polys.
