Project Tibby

Ok, this is just one stage of the project Tibby. I'm still pretty new to 3dmax so please bare with me. I've started the tire package with disc brakes. which you'll see in the picture. The rims is not completely so keep that in mind before any negitave remarks are give but any points is welcome.

Now for my problem. I have created the calipers with the rotor, but when I render it the package, the calipers don't show up. Can any one help me with this.

I would like to say thanks up front for any input and I'll keep you all up dated with my project.

Nice tyre.

Right click on the caliper, and select properties. Make sure it renderable and visible to camera. It should be by default, but you didnt say how you modeled it (splines or poly). Thats all I can think of at the moment.

Not bad, but does the tread pattern go the wrong way, for the position of the calliper anyway.

If the calliper is at the back of the wheel, the tire should go the opposite way, I think IMO.

Damn good rim and tire, none the less!!

Tibby

I recently I design my car and have plans on building it once the finances come in.
My baby is Aa 2003 Hyundai Tiburon V6. If you go to www.onlineshowoff.com and look under my dmanero you see the specs and planes for my ride.

The design was done in Adobe Illustrator

i'm talking to a guy at greddy motorsport about if a 305Z engine swap is possible and add a twin turbo kit on, i'll probably be pushing around 500 horsepower.

I was looking at the cars in the car park at work and found nearly all of the had the brake calliper at the back of the rotor, but the Toyota and the Nissan had the front callipers at the front of the rotor. Not sure where it is on the Hyundai.

500 horses, with front wheel drive? you're nuts hock: (lol)
