New fresh start: topless 300ZX Updated 11/14/04 Interior WIP

With many members from Twinturbo.net urging me to make a stock z... I decided to make a a very stock Convertible z. It's the classic and rare favorite. I started from a single a 10 sided poly and worked from there. Everything was made from scratch except the wheels... I'm anxious and nervous for the interior to be started, but it will be so tedious...

comparing to ur own 'modify' fairlady z.. this looks hella lot better man. The other one just look too sloppy (too smooth) this is a nice start

it still looks a bit too smooth. A huge improvement from the skyline and fairlady z though. Have you ever heard of triple and quadruple chamfering?

I think the seams still aren't good. They don't look very aligned and too round judging from the reflections. The rest of the car looks pretty fine to me, espacially the headlights

Just started on the interior. It's kind of rough estimate, as I need more reference pics. I don't have a digital camera to take pics of my interior, not that it would help since it's a 2+2 anyways. But hopefully, I can find better pics or guess better, and such... fixed some errors here and there too...

It looks waaay better than your previous 300ZX, but those renders hurt my eyes , nice work.

I think it looks pretty damn good!
I even like the colour, although the renders a bit bright. Maybe some shadows would help.

In the botttom render, it looks like the wheels need to be bigger.

interesting... a friend of mine made something like this before, but more drift related. Yours look like a factory stock one so, will you make a ragtop for it?

Just detailed the interior more... tryin to make it as accurate as I can. It's still rough... It's tedious work... :? A lot more harder than making the car...

I need some bump maps for the leather and such... I also need more ref pics...

Just messing around with the materials... I need to lower the bump intensity it appears... I also need to use more geometry for the console to make it more detail...
