well, going into nit-picky detail critique mode...

Quote:
If you haven't done so already, I'd highly recommend going to ebay and saving off all the ref pics for 1963 corvettes there. They've got some pretty nice references at the moment I'm writing this thread... Some of them make it seem like your rear bumper bodywork isn't angled enough, and you lack the body metalwork around the bumper extrusions on the back at the bottom of the car. There also seems to be the same deal at the front bumper that's not in your model. Then there's the holes and trimwork that the exhaust pipes fit into that aren't modeled out...
Extremely minor stuff, it's pretty hard to find something to critique on with a vehicle I'm so unfamiliar with... and the things I mentioned could probably be easily taken care of with texturing as well.

but yeah, it's coming along pretty well from what I can tell. you planning on giving us a solid colors (body parts colored, but not textured) render? That could help me at least give more comment

Pulling some off atm, thanks

I will check the angle of my rear bodywork. The space for the exhaust will just be modeled, you won't see any difference, I hope.
Bodywork extrusion at the front? I don't think the real car has them

I'll give you some coloured ones in a few minutes, but they will look nothing like the final product.

@Everyone: Hehe, thanks
@CF: Yeah yeah, it'll come

EDIT:
Something like this, mmm?
And I just noticed my frontbumper is intersecting with the bodywork.. oops. Fixed.
Also, that piece for the blinker on the front should be bodywork, ofcourse.. oops again

If you can't stand the heat, don't walk into the fire...

Man I love it . Really accurated (though I don't know much the car ) and smooth as hell, let's see how the normals turn out.

Lol I should participate in one of these lowpoly contests one of these days .
