just consider the type of shots you want.

if you want close-ups then go ahead and model them out.

I would at least try to give some depth (insides) to the headlights. (you also need to make your turn signals orange like the ref pic)

IMO, not modeling that stuff out leaves things looking fairly last-gen. It seems like you're building your model fairly high detailed, might as well make the details match the rest of the level of detail

**schaefft** yes It´s google sketchup, max and others, are just too hard
**multimediaman** the headlights are just temporary, I´m planning to make it 3D, and ingame the car are just seen at a distance of about 2 meters, but yeah I think it is better to model those lines, and the door ones aswell.

the car ready to go ingame in rfactor (just to make tests)

thanks

Hi,

I guess that if you are going to put your model in a game is then better to texture those edges...

Offtopic: you said you will put the car into GTL. How you do that? , what tools you use to build the .gtl files wich contains the mesh and textures?

lol man, no that in the picture was just a test, it´s not the final mesh, well to put cars into gtl, is a thing I didin´t tried yet, but it is not a hard thing to do, for sure, and I know gtl suports addon cars. If you want to add me to msn to talk about it.

ps:I didn´t read you post well, to create .gtl files is the same as create .gtr files
