Excellent point. The game features a completely customizable suspension setups. As one of our first complete open wheel models, I chose to first design a fully independent front suspension so the programmers could get the more complex coding out of the way, but the vehicle will feature a fixed front end with the initial purchase - however technically these cars did not have front axles, they had
rigid I-beam spindle mounts suspended by a leaf spring, only early 4x4 vehicles would technically have a solid front axle. A pretty bone jarring ride if any of you have ever experienced it.

Upon initial purchase this vehicle will be a stock 39 chevy pickup (which is the reason why I branched off from a stock designed cab earlier in the thread) with the factory inline-6 motor, rigid spindles, leaf springs, 4 wheel drums, and full fenders. I probably have another full month ahead of me to finish this model. Our publisher is pushing us for content and media for marketing, so I'm temporarily circumventing the normal design process, which would normally have me finishing the original and moving onto the modified.
