Smile ETCC 24H SPA 1984 projet for rFactor

Hello,

I am not new on this great forum, but I never posted too much before...now I think is time to show you one of projects for which I made and i am making some models...

Our job now is to bring back cars from European Touring Car Championship from year 1984 especialy division 1 cars from 24H Spa race. This mod will consist of TWR Jaguar XJS, BMW 635Csi, Rover Vitesse, Volvo 242 Turbo, Toyota Celica Supra II, Ford Mustang and Ford Capri Mk.III. Now we have 3D models of Jaguar, BMW, Volvo, Rover and Celica nearly finished. We are working on textures and ****ipts.

WE STILL LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED MODDELERS AND 2D ARTIST especialy for ****pits, but we have still lot of to do.

Here are some samples of what we done...

BMW 635Csi, model by me, mapping and texturing by GothikGotcha

Jaguar XJS without final wheels, model by me, textures by Edison and Pablo

Toyota Celica

if there´s anybody who can help us with this quite big mod, please let me know on email or ICQ. In case of physics our team leader Mirzza cooperate with for eample BMW club Germany, tire companies etc. So we aren´t working on fun mod, but our goal is to make those cars as real as possible...

thank you for your feedback

Looking really nice, but you should make the headlights 3d for a more real look. Could I see a wire shot?

Yes, you´re right...our last decision was to make lights this way...we have some problem with good reference photos. Once we finished cars and textures we will dicuss it again...

I will make some wire shots and post it later

Impressive picture, should be really enjoyable to play with.

However, the headlights and the rims are not at the same level of quality than the rest of the car. It's a nice idea to spent some more hours on them.

IRL, I prefer the Jaguar XJS, but I must confess that the BMW is really great. Keep us updated !

Currently project : Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster
Previous : Marcos 1800 GT (60's winner), Ariel Atom II (LightIsRight winner), SuperSeven (WZA #4)

you are right...as I wrote, wheels are not final - it is only because we want try physics - wheels are from GTL I think...but Jaguar has different rims...about headlights...in this version they will stay the same, but after finishing other cars we will look on every car again with help of betatesters and then we might change some cars gently...
