another update. Finished details of the body,
to do list: - door handles - front lights - stuff under the car - low poly interior - high poly interior - chevrolet badge - inner foglights and i think that's all c&c please. |

As your door- and body lines seem detached (?), I suspect they are going to disturb/break the reflections. In connection hereto, I would suggest having a look at the technique used for instance by OriK on his Saleen S7 or Skyline.
Having said that, though, I think your mesh as a whole looks extremely well-crafted with a great flow. Keep it up ![]() T-Shine |

thanks, i've looked at that technique and my first plan was to do it also. But it increases the amount of poly's so much so i decided to go on this way. Here is a picture that shows the seam of close. There will be a minor break i'm afread, but because i chamfered the lines into the seams i don't think it will be very noticable!
the polycound for the whole finished body is 14200, that is pretty low for the detail i pulled into it so i am happy with it. |
