[Blender] celfiighters First Projects

I thought a few times about where to post, and then I decided to post it here.
I'd really need help with this work.. its my first car in blender, and blender is my first 3d programm . If anyone of the blender "veterans" could help me I'd be very happy .

Anyway I used this as backgroundimage:

And this is how far I got :

I don't need c&c yet, I'd need a "mentor"

~Fabio.

Sorry for doubleposting and that I edited the thread title, but I think for my first projects one thread is enough

I tried a new one, its based on a Drawing by me;

and here's the "model";

Could someone tell me how I can do that it isn't anymore squared?
And how do I make glass and interior?

You should really stick to a single project per thread, it makes topic search more effective when looking at thread names.

About your 2D sketch, you should first try to produce a 3D cage of your model. Here's an example of what I mean :

The model shown in this picture is a standard mesh, but without any faces. Just edges with enough vertices to make them looking smooth enough.

Achieving such a model is a good first step toward 3D modeling, as it will get you thinking 3D about every single shape of your car.

OK, don't give up too soon. It's sure it takes time and motivation to achieve a 3D model, but it's really worth the time and energy you'll put into it.

Feel free to post any question you have. We'll do our best to answer usefully. And by the way, welcome to SMC, I hope you'll enjoy your stay here.

I won't give up so fast, I'm doing pixelcars, which need very much time, not such that much as u need for 3d models, but you for a very good pixelcar you will need about 2 weeks work

I'm not a person who gives up very fast, I just need to know how to work, the rest is easy

OK so I'll stay tuned to see some work from you. By the way, I didn't notice you use Blender. Feel free to ask any Blender specific question too, in the dedicated section.
