Not necessary since those details are not visible most of the time, I'd say it's bit polywastage but sure looks cool now

You could use photos to your interior, SA indeed has stupid lightning which makes most interiors look bad even they would got nice details

Also can use transparent faces to give off a shaded feel.

Great in red! and the model is coming along nicely, Considering this is front wheel drive car not bad performance, but does lack V8 good and roomy inside. will sure be good to see the different versions also. I like this model better than the 2006 to current.

Thank you guys The dashboard is done!, atleast the model of it. Its not mapped or textured, I think I will do it when the model is complete. I also added some extra rows of polies at the exterior to make some curves more smooth. As you can see, the reflections at the last render arent perfect, pls give me some critism so I can optimize the wire.

Sry for the 2 small renders, forgot to change the settings. If you see something you dont like, pls tell me and Ill do my best to change it.

Ah, and another thing, does anyone know why there are such dark spots at the dashboard in some places where they shouldnt be? Doesnt has something to do with the normals.

EDIT: Forgot the wires <.<

I'd blame the darkness on your shadow settings..

looking great so far! you're gonna kick off some nice, large, rendered blueprints of the car in white when you get 'er finished, right?

at least 1024x1024

Schaefft, whatsup man, its been a long time since we've spoken. It's looking great, keep up the good work. I'm impressed with the level of detail you've added on it. I love it.

Okay, heres a small update. The stuff you can see at those pics are the progress of today. If you see something you dont like or a place where I should add more polies, please please tell me so I can improve this car.

EDIT: Fixed normals at the door.

Thank you guys.

@tiberius: I think I just had enought of the Crown Victoria and didnt want to spend more time with it, so I finished and released it. I have the 3d models of both Mercurys here, I think I will continue them and release the whole pack including the Crown Vic for Gta IV.

Okaaay, after too much time playing Halo3 (which is one of the best games Ive ever played), I finally forced myself to open 3ds max and finish that damn door. Heres the result, still no textures, just the model. As always, give me critism if you find something I should change, please.
