Thought I would show some of my old and current unfinished projects, all done in Zmodeler v1.07

Current project is the DeLorean, all others might get finished one day, these are:

Mercededs 300SL Gullwing
Austin/Morris 1800 mk2
Transformers beater Camaro
Honda Civic (current euro model)
Aston Martin db5 (interior, the exterior was done ages ago and shown in the 60's competition)
Aston Martin DB9 (for a lowpoly contest here a long time ago, not touched since)
Ecto-1
Opel Kadett A (was going to be Oliver, from the Top Gear South African special)
Auston/rover Mini
VW Polo (made the lights, hated how it looks, didnt touch it since)

I've got a load others as well which I didnt think are worth showing, mostly made up stuff for San Andreas.

I will probably keep this thread updated with work on the DeLorean, and maybe other projects after. Any comments are welcome as long as its not about trying to make me use 3ds Max!

Nice Camaro. Did you make those dirty spots by hand or took them from photos? Gotta get that in-game! If you dont have time, I can put it in MM2 for you.

Also, what are those faces in front of the db9's wheels? Shiny effects? Brilliant! Just like your idea of using fender objects to make turn signals (flashing lights) appear/disappear. I thought of these too, but you beat me...by ages. Good work.

Nice low poly cars especially your Civic and the Camaro. I remember your work for MM2 and if i'm right the Mc Laren F1, your last car for this game.

The camaro textures are modified photos, i used a larger version of this :

then for the other side, i mirrored it, cleaned it up, and copy/pasted the damage from thos pic:

turned out quite well, far from finished tho.

As for the DB9, its nothing that clever its just that the tire wall is a flat 2 poly plane with alpha channels on it.

I will most likely go back to the Kadett after the DeLorean, a long time ago I had the ideo of making the Top Gear destroyed Toyota Hilux, but couldnt find enough reference images.

thanks DeLorean update:

7206 polys without wheels.

wheels are 4271 each :O

Using modified photos for most textures, only way to get a good stainless steel effect.

Small DeLorean Update, and as requested wireframes of the 300sl and the McLaren.

The 300sl and McLaren haven't been touched since 2005, so I've improved alot since then
