BMW E30 ///M3 DTM
Hi,
I want to show off my current project: BMW E30 DTM. No, no I haven't quited Gallardo, I'm just tired of it for now. Mah bimmer has ~19k polygons. Still need to do interior and little exterior details. I'm gunna put it in some game like rFactor but I need some info. How many polys are optimal for rFactor, how big can be textures. Are damages in rFactor and now hard question:
If I want to make 5 versions of it (different skins and little details like rims, spoiler and fuel intakes on trunk) can it be as one car ? I mean if I will change skin in rFactor can it also change rims, spoiler etc. ?
there are links to other versions:
1 2 3 4 5

Yo Yo Yo!
Moar pics and new skin! I had to redo UVW mapping 'cos it had some bugs, now it's good. I think I can start making interior. I will start from floor then I will do safety cage.

All those nasty sharp edges is ruining the impression that it is 19k model. I mean those fender bump edges could be smoothened.
The bottom of a-pillar needs work or better smothing groups. Also the c-pillar and front fender looks wavy. Back fender has too much unneccesary polys, in my opinion.

Hi,
Sorry for lack of updates but my parents just bought a Doggie (no I'm not so crazy and I haven named HER Lambo or Miura She's Saba) and I have to teach her everything, walk around her etc. but I found some time to start the interior.
There are results. I know it's so low poly and low res but rFactor has 2 models of interior uber-low poly (for 3rd perspective camera) and mid poly (for cockpit perspective camera). I've to do foor and rest of interior shell.

And my big request:
If someone is/know someone who converts cars to rFactor or other game (not GTA for now) please contact me! Thanks in advance
