salim: heh I know this feeling. When I started this thread I realised that I wanted to model new Alpina B5 GT3
Maview: lol, You're second person that I inspired to model an JGTC car

Worked on it whole day. I know that's not too much after one day of work but I can't get rid of some stupid and weird shadows. Rims are just a placeholders for now.

Well, If believe to my blueprints, it should be like that. I can't proof that cuz my refs are very small so you can't really see this line :/.

its meant to do something like this, it should be a smooth line all the way across without any kinks, it just appears sharper at the top of the wheel arch because it meets up with another faint crease that goes around the wheel arch (the green line)

i own a 1:18 AutoArt model of the '02 Calsonic GTR if you want some photos...

Nice! I need some pics of under body parts and diffuser area. Also rear wing and rear glass cuz on some pics I can see something but dunno that is it (something made of carbon)

About this line, is it now good?

just make it a bit smoother like this...also, it doesnt have to flow neatly into the door, the flare starts right at the panel gap

@Spitty: Thanks, It's viewport shading from new 3DS max 2010. It supports soft shadows and real-time Ambient Occlusion.
@ET: Thanks, I've been improving my skills by modelling something which just needs nice textures, so I did P90 (yes, a sub-machine gun), now you can see results.
@KamikaZ: Thanks but that's from stock Z-tune GTR, I believe that JGTC cars has different underbodies I'll post template just after finishing UVW, so stay on.

Did some dotails, can't do much more for now cuz I don't have any photos how underbody/rear diffusor could look. I'll maybe start inerior or UVW mapping.

PS attached screen shots w/o viewport shading.

Watin for that template As for them lights.. seems a bit plane compared to a picture-

I'll leave a couple of game textures, just so if you wanna use one of them. Good luck with it.

What do you mean they are plane?
And thanks for textures but I'm going to draw every texture by hand
