and once again a small update - inside of the windshield, door done, more of the dash done
pretty much the only things left are the rest of the dash, the wheel wells/underside, wheels, and a hardtop
much easier said than done though

@Catlin: simply, yes i can be that busy
as for polies....as of this latest update, polycount stands at 35.300..too much but i don't care
@Silent: thanks
i made a to-do list for the car, if anybody was wondering

and here's the next small update
-part of the dash

this part of the dash was actually a huge hurdle, something that i've been putting off for a long time just because it looked so hard...so i settled on autrocious normals and left it at that
but hopefully it's not too apparent, and even if it is, i'm not fixing it

thanks for the crit, but i'm at a stage in this car where i really don't want to go back and fix it
i may take pics soon, but the updates i've made don't really deserve pics:
i have now finished closing all gaps and seams, filling in wheel wells and underside, done the rear view mirror, leaving my to-do list as follows:

*finish the dash (close in steering column hole, keyhole, etc. on right side)
*wheels and brakes
*windshield wipers
*hardtop (?)
*all textures

and possibly i may make the alpina version, if i feel like it

some miscellaneous updates

-wheel wells done
-wipers done
-rear view mirror done
-all gaps, seams done
-underside done

so my to-do list is small now:
just need to do the wheels and textures really

thanks
i'll probably put it in a few games - it's not excessively high-poly
but actually it is more an art for me - i don't care if it goes in a game or not

-rims + tires done

(these should look better once i get the textures in)

to-do:
-brakes
-rest of dash
-textures
-hardtop (?)
-alpina version (?)

I say no to hardtop. With all this work your putting into a hardtop would just hide a lot of it. I mean you can have the 2 versions where you render one with and one without but for a final render i would have no hardtop.
