Looking Sweet EC!! Great work, nice to see you're still modeling
Somehow the lights look a bit off. As if the glass part is too long in relation to the cover. Also, the front bumper lip looks a bit different, and the rims need some more depth (where the spokes meet the rim).
Looking good though!

NE: thanks
I tried working on your crits. I think the lights are slightly better now, and I still need to fix some aspects of the front bumper

Incredibly smooth, once again I really admire that kind of low-poly/mid-poly work. 5 stars !

Very nice, Ive done this car several times so I know its hurdles. If you need any pictures let me know I have a good selection of rare and high res shots. BTw when will you start on the indicators? Thats one of the key parts that makes this car after all. Only way you could get away with not having them is if you were doing the XP1 or the dumby car but to do that you'd have to have the foglights which is a different lower front. However doing the XP cars isnt a half bad idea (RIP XP1)
OK I caught something. You said you still had some tweaking to do, so not sure if this was on your list, but anyhow check out the front how the sides of the front intake stick out more then curve with the side.

Thanks everyone, really
Comments are always appreciated
Icekid: I'm desperate for reference pictures, if you could help me out
I wasn't originally going to do the indicators because I kind of liked the look without them. And yeah I was going to do the one with the fog lights because I thought it looked better, but I had already made the front fascia by then . I didn't know the nomenclature of the different McLarens; that's good to know.
As for the bumper, I'm not sure if I really understood exactly what you meant in your comment, but what I've done now is I tweaked it so the whole bumper stuck out more
Here are the updates:
...gah, and looking at a couple of photos, I'm wondering if it still doesn't stick out enough

I went and found pics taken at similar angles to your pics and started to look for mistakes... but I mostly came up with some BS stuff, this model is just too good. Some of the stuff I marked are questionable but maybe it`ll help. The thing I also noticed is that the highbeam lamp was alot smaller in ref pics, but that kind of part may differ in US/euro and such.
perhaps some errors
Very good work!

Thanks everyone
@ Riva: 16940 (ouch) for the body and 1868 per rim
@ Tonn: thanks a lot for taking the time to do that! Most of your corrections seemed right, so I did what I could do work on them, and here are the results
Oh and yeah the high beam is really small on one version but my size on another version
Good eye, and I hope you can see my efforts in these pictures
I think I'm gonna stop tweaking the body and just call it good enough for now (unless I look at it in after the interior is done)
so mainly I'm just taking some final pics before I have to start the dreaded interior...

Well I looked through my pictures, and frankly I need specifications of what you want, Ive got lots of upclose shots, far off shots, side etc.
I think the only thing you need is the black strip across the bottom, optional since some have it some dont, BUT majority have it, and I think it looks better since it creates and optical illusion of longer car. Btw,your work on this made me pull mine out and tweak at it.

Thanks for that input, I've added the black strip
I've worked a bit on the interior. I'm not really planning to go into too much detail here, and I honestly don't care too much about accuracy. I do want the general shape to look right but I'm not gonna stress the details.. (don't kill me)
It is for games so..
As for the seats, I was thinking about just texturing them. If i can't find good textures I will have to model out some of the details though.
So well icekid if you think you could help out with a good shot of the seats (both side and middle), that would be great. I've looked through myself and it looks like there are a few different styles so..
please don't reply with issues on the details of the interior, as I'm sure there are many. I really am not interested in whether or not the slope of the seat is correct or whether my speakers are too big!!
However, do let me know if there are any major glaring errors

Thanks Icekid!
After a long leave of absence i've had a little time to update the car
The main updates are the engine and steering wheel and interior bits
This leaves little details and texturing until I can finally call the car done.
