Lowpoly Contest :: Corvette Stingray (1963)

I was asked for another contest, so... rules are in the Contest forum.

Here's my start:
Just a few minutes work, so still very WIP..

You seem to be using quite some tri's, is this a bad thing ? I'm told this should be avoided most of the time, so I'm wondering ?

since he is going low poly it isn't an isue. he won't be using a smoothing tool (what's that again in LW? )

@NE

It's going to be extemely nice when it's complete, no doubt! It's a WIP, I know, but the shape does not seem quite right.....I'm sure you'll figure it out or prove me wrong...one of the two! Good stuff, really, good stuff!

@rotary turbo: I think it's because the fenders are missing But at the moment, it's zero accuracy. I want the basic shape first

@Xoliul: As said, in lowpoly modeling it doesn't matter. For Lightwave users, tri's don't really matter for meshsmoothed projects either, LW can smooth them a lot better than Max

@S][M: I'm glad I don't do ZModeler again.. LW is much much much faster!
I think that's just 5 minutes work.. in ZM it would take me four times as much, lol

@outtanames: I'll map that S7 in a short while, if I don't forget

Thanks everyone
This car is so much fun to do Can't wait to texture it

Worked all day, so haven't done much..
