1960's Jaguar Mk2 3.8L MOD

Here's my most recent car for Racer. Most of it was done without blueprints, as most prints around are not so accurate, but it was finished up with prints i just got from some very helpful folks over at the RSC forums.

The car is 8033 polys without wheels, with each wheel clocking in at 866 polys, for an in-game total of what, 11500 or so.

If anyone is interested, i can post the Blueprints i now have. They came from a model, i think a Tamiya, and if used with lots and lots of reference photos can yield good results.

That's all for now then.

WOW, the normals are beautifully done on that car, and the body is very well done. Its good when someone can realize that prints are not accurate and go with the gut feeling on something and use pictures to tune by the eye. Ive had to resort to tactics such as that and you really feels better about yourself when you know that you can look at a picture of the car your doing, take your model put it at the same angle and it looks spot on. Anyhow the car looks great and I thank you for showing

BTW: yes sure we'd love to have the prints here.

1960's Jaguar Mk2 3.8L MOD

Hi ! We are currently doing a mod for the game Mafia to makes it in the 70s. This is exactly the cars we were needing hock: . Anyway, if you would give me the permission to convert it (giving you all the credit for the mesh of course), I would be really happy to use it in mafia. If you want to get an overview of our mod, go to 70s.mafiamods.net/ in the progress section. BTW beautiful modelling job with so little polys . Hoping to get an answer soon, Cya later

jeep314, I figured i'd answer here rather than in ckeri's thread.

Sorry, but the current version of my car is just for Racer. Later when i update it, i will probably allow it to be used elsewhere, but for now, in its current state, its just Racer exclusive.

There are just some things that i want to change/fix, before i let it out more publicly, and i don't know when that will be, as i have 4-5 other cars in progress that need finishing first.

Why not finish this one first, before the 4 or 5
I wanna cruise with this car

Yeah, the Racer v1.0 is like a final beta sort of thing. It's all there , just not all 110% perfect.

But i think NightEye meant he wanted to cruise in some game other than Racer...?
