wow.. this is just awesome. haven't check in on this in a while and those last few renders - or the others on that page are just staggering. i'm in awe... now do a 917 lh / kh and a 330p4 and someone else needs to convert these cars into game-capable models. driving heaven.

if you're ever going to think of doing a 917, let me know

sky / surprise! productions

Sitting there watching that powder-blue and orange 917 barreling down the Mulsanne and getting squirrelly
under braking was the exact moment when I stopped thinking Corvettes were the coolest cars on earth.

Hi,

Finally I completed cockpit materials. But it's not so simple:

When I did first rendering test, I noticed that some glasses were completely dark. I understood that the problem was the gamma (vray color mapping).

Using gamma 2.2 causes transparent glasses, but all my older renderings appeared to be too dark now on my nec 22" crt monitor.

The same thing for gamma 1.8.

Finally I used gamma 1.6. This is a test rendering, so let me know how do you see it:

It just looks a bit too bright and washed out, it definately needs needs some fine tuning. Love the model though

Hi,

New rendering and gamma fixed at 1.8. Now the image is better and materials more realistic. Glasses are completely transparent.

Maibe the seats are too dark, but this is an interior rendering, so it could be ok.
