Hi again, well thats sad about your old "scale cars" but atleast you are making some very nice replacements in 3d. This car looks really nice, and keeps looking nice. Do you see yourself building the other old Mercedes Race car? C11 was it. I think it was my personal favorite of these 2.

@ Silent][Moebius & mpfive: Yes I noticed that. Maybe the tires are still too round. It's weird because the floor is actually cutting the tires a bit. I''ll try to fix it!

@ Dauer: man, as soon as I finish the other 2 cars on schedule, I'll go for that C11!

Hi all,

Ages since last update. Added many tiny details needed. I think body work it's almos done. Still working on decals (some are low res atm).

Uploaded some snapshots and one plain scanline render. I'll focus now on materials, tires and ligth maps, and the studio setup. Also a rough interior will be added.

I really want to finish this one to start the next project (twin sport cars from the 89 lemans season). Hope to get some c&c!

Spent some time working on front lights. This is what I finnish with so far. One is supossed to be on and the other off. Still some glow and self-iluminance need to be added to the light bulb.
