Here's one of my latest projects, I know I have a lot on my back but the Skyline is almost ready for release and the RX7 is not a primary project.
I've always wanted to make a german autobahntrain but I havent found a victim until now.
The Audi RS4, with a powerful V8 under the lid makes it to one of the most powerful estates in the world.
It sits on about 432 polies so far, about 30mins of work here.

30 minutes for that!? Respect! And it looks good and accurate as well. The Audi RS4 Avant is a classic pocket-rocket in my book and it deserves a good model, and yours look set on that path. I'm taking a break on the SN95 Mustang but I've already got the shape for the lower side "scanned" in from reference-photos from eBay Motors so when I continue I can get the shape tightend up now that I have extruded all side polygons. I have however come to the conclusion that I should make a seperate object for each body-panel to avoid confusion when extruding and working on the other sides. In case you don't use this technique then you could try it, especially if plan on 3D panel gaps then it won't interfere.

Hope you got the Radeon-Racer-issue sorted out.

Greetings
Frank

P.S. I still haven't gotten in touch with MS Support to know why my legal XP edition can't be unlocked and I'm busy otherwise so I won't have messenger installed in the near future but thanks for the help

yeah its fun to see how people start cars, I always start on the side and get maybe the door done and then I start tuning it to the shape it should be. The car looks great so far, hope it has 3d headlights

Well, the price sure is right. I'll use Zmod until they start giving away 3dsMax, but Max does make porting into certain games easier(i.e. the new developement version of NetKar will prefer Max, as it uses ASE straight out...) so i personally would like to learn it at some point...

But for now, nothing can come close to the abilities and convenience(and PRICE!) combination of Zmod, that's for sure.

Though the restart does look nice, Heyl. What is it at now, 2000-3000 polys?... Shiny.
