Ford Coupe 1940 (custom)

Thought to show my progress of this one aswell. Palats custom Ford and prints inspired me to model one also, great little car to customize a bit Nothing radical thou. Still in very early stage and progress will be slow since I'm able to model mostly at weekends if I got the inspiration and energy ^_^

Wheels are from my Plymouth Scamp and I guess I will replace them with some other rims.

the rear fender might be a bit too squared off but i'm not sure. this sure is a great car to customize so good luck.

@Ibeam

Thanks! That issue caught my eye actually too

And here's the wires as was requested

I got tris here and there still. Gonna take a deeper look on them when I start to detach body to parts.

Nice mesh Flash!

You got it pretty much nailed. Minor crit goes to the sidewindows which should have more depth . Windscreen must be pierced in the middle, it would be wise to add edges to the central pillar on the backlight too. If you are modeling the DeLuxe model, don't forget the "flares" each side of the grille that start at the front and blend into the hood sides.

If you want to do a killer custom you will find awesome suggestions here: HAMB ART CHALLENGE 1- 1940 Ford Coupe - THE H.A.M.B.
