MadCar can be found on Evermotion or CGCars...i thing i gave the link in one of the first posts....if not just try to look for it and if no luck write me PM.

It's a bummer you can't set it up so that it properly detects the area that the chassis takes up. For instance, my WZA Gallardo is HEAPS low to the ground, with bull-bars ect... When I drive in MadCar, they intersect through the ground, even with very rigid suspension. I mean, how sweet would it be if the body sraped over the ground over jump and bumps?!

I know, unfortunetlu there is no way to make the body bounce off when it hits the ground. instead there are some ways, to prevent this. rigid suspensin is not the only parameter important in MadCar. Infact i gotta say that i didn't change mine from 1000 ever. what i do is when i'm satisfied with how the car acts in viewport i try to manipulete car hight and low down the carbody to the ground by using Affect Object Only. that way u can keep the car's abilities and make it lower...at least it works for me

oooOOOooohhh... ONE thing I forgot to tell you; I've heard of this plugin for Max that allows 2 users to work on the same .max file in real-time via a network connection... Would be pretty sweet for capturing a car-chase scene, ay?

As soon as I get the name of it, I'll post it!!

HI all. I'm back Hope U'll all know what this one was inspired by After 3 days of fumefx kicking my laptop's ass and after another 2 days of rendering here's the latest animation. Fighting with MadCar didn't work as i suspected but still...it moves and slides. the second thing is that i somehow animated the wind wrong so in the end it blows the smoke of the scene...but i couldn't let all the work go to waste so... and the third thing is that the materials aren't at all the parts of the cars.also the first shot is brighter couse i forgot to turn of the light So...here it goes. Hope You guys will like it and coment it.

P.S. Also be so kind to coment it on Youtube if U can. Thx in advance
Oscar

Looking damn nice there Oscar!
Thought the smoke seems a tad to thing or something.
Smoke from burnouts usualy is a bit thicker and fades away like 50% slower.
Dont know if you can adjust settings or something ?

And also wich plugin is it ur using and where can i download it ?

Chris

It's really a great work. But I have two main critics :

- The instability of the blue car ruins your scene. The floor looks really plane, so the car should not bounce that way.
- When the wind powers up at the end of each half, the smoke looks too stuck : it should get away more faster.

Otherwise, I love your work. You're not done yet, but the video looks very promising.

Th for replies Guys.

@mr. mean - well ... as said before i used MadCar for animating the car and fume fx for the smoke. as for the smoke...well...i need to consider redoing it all but then i would have to either free another 30Gb diskspace or delete the previous one which is 27GB and count on thet it will fit there and spend another 3 days without computer because it will be working so hard again.

@tom120934 - this is what happens when U make car about 50 times smaller than it was meant to be. normal MadCar frame is abou 137 lenght and axle are about 67 each. mine are :frame- 2,22 and for axle its about 1.9. so as u can see it's a lot smaller than the original one. that leads to that the wheels are also smaller and they react divvrently on even small bumps. the mistake i did was that i didn't render some test part before staring fumefx. i noticed the car bumping after it was all to late. as for the smoke at the end ... it wasn't meant to go away at all. it's just that ....how to explain that? well... U have to put wind in front of the car to make the smoke go away and the wind is locked to car body. i keyframed it's power and after couple of tests decided to make it weaker...i didn't correct the last segment tho so instead of the wind goin to 0 it goes to -12 this why it sucked out all the smoke from the scene
