I agree with Catlin, you really should add some details. Not because it's not good so far, but because it will be killer work when properly detailed.

Keep us updated.

Just use the placement tool script and place some rivets and screws around, just to break up the big surfaces a little. Let me know if you dont have the placement tool and ill find the link for you. Other than that its looking great!

never heard of that script before did a quick search and didnt see anything. as for the big flat panels i still need to round some edges etc add a few bolts and nuts. trting to figure out the best way to create a welded seam. its my first real attempt at anything this detailed. the chain and sprockets where my first time trying anything like that took a bit of trial and error. so any adivice is greatly appreciated .

oh ok, well I'll try and help you out.
Once youve run the script and its up on the screen, select the piece you want to put the rivets and nuts on, then press "Set Sel. As Source". Once youve dont that make some little rivets nuts or whatever you want to place on that object. Then click the button "Pick Distribution 1" and select the nut you made. Once that is selected and it says its name in the button, Press the Place button and you should get a little blue cursor that comes up when you move the mouse over the part you want to put the nuts on. click you mouse as many times as you like and you should get the the nuts being made on your object......hopefully!
Ive attatched a pic to sort of explain it. I hope this helps you out.

Nice work, what is the shoot rate of this thing ? Will it be fast enough to slow down a crowd ?

yea prykie i used that placement tool saved alot of time. and dr feelgood as for texturin and rendering thats my weak area. im primarily a modellor. weapons and vehicles for first person shooter games. im honestly dont expect to have much of a chance here but the only way to improve ones work is to push himself to higher levels. even the more complex game engines like crysis and ut3 are running vehicles only in the 13,000- 20,000 poly limit.that really doest give you alot of room to go crazy on detail your always on a poly budget . so here im having fun and got no real poly limit in mind. i guess my only limit will be when my pc says no more lol. im reading a few tutorial on mental ray rendering and vray. and have good working knowledge of photoshop and basic textures in max so i guess time will tell how the texture and render turn out. main thing is im having fun and learning stuff as well.
