    Sorry but....what is FFD? :)

    @helicase, the grey in the first render is only a comparsion of the clay model and rendered model or what do you mean with "how do you look out of them?"

    if you sit in the seat of the car, do you just have a small viewing angle?

    FFD - ?free form distortion. It creates a cage around an object which averages out the mesh within.

    If you look at the tyre on the last pic of my truck you can see the bottom is softened

    I'm using solidworks, so there is no option like this but I would keep that idea in mind for the next models.

    kewl, on this particular scene I only select the bottom 2 inner vertices and move them up, otherwise the rim starts to distort or the tyre distorts away from the rim...
