Holden HQ Kingswood (1973)

#1
I drew this maybe twenty years ago, when the computers I owned were a Timex Sinclair and a TI 99, when 8K was HUGE RAM, 1 MHz looked like the speed of light, and the memory storage was a cassette tape player. I found it having a clean out, time hasn't been very kind, it was drawn in pencil on tracing paper and had to be ironed before a scan was possible. I don't make any great claims for it other than that the proportions still look fairly right....

The second image suffers from the same neglect, but it's a rework that I did a couple of years after the first. Looks a little better to me, you might disagree....

Been a busy night. Found a photocopy of my second edit that's in better shape than the original. Third image is a service manual chassis dimensional sketch, fourth is chassis pan drawings that I did, fifth is a promo brochure profile of an HZ model GTS, sports version of a facelift model from five years later. Profiles of the bonnet and boot differ on the later one.
