    As part of the modeling unit, a bunch of topology enthusiasts with love to detail, you support the team on different levels. As stand-in for the Team Lead you take over team and project management and additionally your creative skills are required when building photorealistic CG assets. Utilizing CAD data, 3D scans, design documents, as well as reference photos you create the highly-detailed models with all its variants. Moving on to the fun part you add convincing folds and seams to the model and finally hand over the scene to your colleagues next in pipeline.



    Job Responsibilities
    High-level modeling meets project management responsibilities
    • Modeling soft and hard parts for product visualization
    • Improving existing workflows, contributing to the development of new modeling procedures and supporting tool development
    • Modeling tasks as well as taking over project managing responsibilities
    • Team and project management, helping and substituting the Team Lead in the daily business
    • Attending meetings for kick-off and approvals, with teams and clients
    • Coordination of tasks with Project Leaders and Program Managers
    • Quality assurance

    Requirements

    CGI expertise coupled with project management skill-set
    • Preferably an educational background in media or 3D design and/or project management
    • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience, ideally as modeler for media production
    • Experience in managing projects, along with very good skills in Microsoft Office and JIRA Process Management Software
    • Very good skills in high-end polygonal modeling
    • In-depth knowledge of applications like Maya, Max, XSI or Cinema 4D
    • Proper understanding of geometry and topology as well as a strong interest in cars
    • Fluent in English; German skills are a major plus
    • Preferably scripting know-how (for example Python)
