I'm still working on the basic mesh only ... so don't mind the mistakes ;)

hey man, looks like a good start :) Tho you could improve some things to your wire, as shown below!! Also the side could use some work ;) And do you use smoothing groups or do you split the edges manually ?

keep it up!!

Tnx guys :)
Yes the thing is that I'm not good whit mental-ray , I only know V-ray.. so now it's time to learn the mental-ray.

Well new update .. working on some details , It's actually now fun .. even if it was the biggest boring thing for me in modeling , I could make an basic shape of the car in a matter of minutes , but when it came to details :S ahhh ... now I'm having fun whit it so .. I'll probably work harder :D

and here the update:

The wheel is looking great, man!
Do all of you guys always model the tyres or do some of you use bump mapping for it? I'm just curious. I haven't made much cars but I always tend to use texture bumping...

@ durban : well if you have enough time to make it in 3D and you go enough Ram memory why not in 3D ? it looks better in rendering also for visualisation .
but you can also use bump map if have a good one .
all depond on you xD .

now back to the topic xD .

@ marko : very nice work ! just one minor bum on the rim could be fixed np .

looking forward to see more .

cheers
